Feel the energy of the drums and the timbre of percussion, for one night only at Savino Live!
The drummer and percussionist Vasilis Vasileiou and a lot of special musicians will meet on stage on Thursday 18 July to take us to a journey through different kinds of music. Jazz, blues, funk, latin and ethnic tunes and rhythms will mingle in a unique performance focusing on the dynamic sound of the percussion.
Playing with Vasilis Vasileiou: The Zilla Project, the percussion group Batukinio, the musicians Andreas Panteli (piano), Loukis Petrides and Stefanos Pontos (guitar), Greg Makamian (electric & acoustic bass), Costas Lolos (violin), Ravi Saundankar (tabla), Andreas Alexantrou (percussion), Anastasia Motiti (flute), Demetris Paschali and Charalambos Solonos (clarinet), Elli Michael and Michalis Chatziantoniou (alto saxophone), Achilleas Tomasides (tenor saxophone), Panayiotis Souroullas (baritone saxophone), Michalis Michael and Christos Loizides (trumpet), Eliana Pavlou (french horn), Demetris Yiasemides and Panayiotis Karatzias (trombone), Evgenia Balafa and Andreas Demetriou (voice), the conductor Yiannis Miralis and the band KIND OF BRASS.
