The First Performance and Live Art Platform in Cyprus
Yiota Demetriou , along with artists Christina Georgiou, Cara Davies, Andreas Pashias and Demetris Chimonas , have organized the first Performance and Live Art Platform 2012, which will take place in Larnaca on Saturday July 21 and Sunday July 22, 2012, at the Foundation of Cultural Creativity for Children and Young People (St Lazarus St 81-83, Larnaca)
The Platform accommodates artists from Cyprus and abroad who derive from a diversity of artistic backgrounds such as theater, dance and visual arts, but they work with live art and performance as their main means of expression and communication. It also forms an intercultural (Cyprus, Greece and UK) and national (Larnaca, Nicosia) dialogue between artists by exploring the interdisciplinary nature of the work of each artist.
