116000 Hop!
Did you know that on the 20th of November every year we celebrate the Universal Children’s Day?
This year we selected to celebrate this day by raising public awareness on a specific issue: child disappearances. And we will celebrate it with an innovative way: ‘hopping’ with the bouncing balls!
In Cyprus the European Hotline for Missing Children 116 000 has been operating since May 2012 by the NGO Consortium Association for the Prevention and Handling of Violence in the Family and “Hope For Children” UNCRC Policy Center. The Hotline operates 24/7 with the aim to support the families of children who have disappeared as well as the effective cooperation with the competent national authorities for the tracing and possible return of children.
We invite you, therefore, to join us on the 20th of November, at 17:00 until 19:00 at Mall of Cyprus to ‘hop’ and disseminate the message of 116 000! We will be waiting for you, little and older friends!
