11th Cyprus-Russian Festival
Every year thousands of people gather to celebrate the unique relationship between Russia and Cyprus.The Festival is already a well-known tradition.
More than 1,000 actors,dancers and singers from both countries perform on three stages taking part in a very rich non-stop concert and entertainment program.
The Cyprus-Russian Festival is by far the biggest event of its kind in Cyprus. About 12-15,000 people will gather in June in the Limassol Municipal Gardens to celebrate the unique relationship between Russia and Cyprus.
There are about 50,000 Russian-speakers residing in Cyprus. More than 800,000 tourists from CIS countries visit Cyprus every year. The Festival has already become a very important part of the community’s life.

Day One: Saturday June 4, 2016
15:00-23:00 Festive Fair in the central alley of the park.
15:00-23:00 Entertainment for children and adults: carousels, trampolines, luna-park, motocross etc.
15:00 – 23:00 Entertainment for children and adults: planetarium and belt labyrinth.
15:00-23:00 Exhibition of Russian and Cypriot painters.
15:00-16:00 Acrobatic show by Maestro Angelos (main stage).
15:00-20:00 “My Matrioshka” Contest (in the central part of the park).
16:00 - 18:00 Concert by Cypriot and Russian children’s groups (main stage).
16:00 - 20:00 Master classes for children and adults (Curving and Confectionery mastic. Central alley stand 19)
16:00 - 21:30 Concert by Cypriot and Russian children’s groups (small stage, near the main entrance to the park).
16:00-19:00 Russian Wave Radio station Life Link
17:00-20:00 Street Work Out tournament. The organizers of Championship are Lighthouse workout (katw Pafos-official) and Ochudan Ltd.
18:00 - 18:30 Limassol Municipal Band accompanied with Majorettes parade.
18:00 - 19:00 Break in the concert program on the main stage (request to all the guests to leave the hall for security procedures!).
19:00 Latino master class Salsa/Bachata. Movimiento Dance Studio (round stage)
19:00 - 19:30 Official Opening Ceremony of the
Festival, greetings by the official guests (main stage).
19:30 - 21:30 Gala Concert (main stage).
21:00 Show and workshop of Greek Zorba (round stage).
21:30 Show program with participation of the famous Russian singer Danko (main stage).
22:50 Fireworks.
Day Two: Sunday, June 6

16:00 - 18:00 Concert by Cypriot and Russian children’s groups (main stage).
17:00 - 19:00 The competitions in pulling up on the bar. Organizer: holder of 2 Guinness world records, Jamshid Turaev with support of CHS fitness club.

20:00 Cypriot traditional wedding. Performed by Cypriot folk group Konta stin Paradosi.

20:00-21:00 Performance by the rock group “COOP Band” (main stage).
21:00-22:00 Mesmerizing show featuring illusionist Adamos and violin trio 'Music Magic'
