14 Cypriot Engravers
The exhibition presents works in various techniques, as a selection from the overall range of work of the participating artists: Michalis Arfaras, Kati Mahrt, Euclidis Papadopoulos, Eugenia Vassiloudi, Stathis Paparoditis, Michalis Fadaros, Annie Erotokritou, Hourik Torosian, Kyriakos Theocharous, Christouinis Hatziaris, Christos Hatziaris, Christos Hatizis, Christou Hatizis and Christou Hatizis. The multifaceted nature of the works gives a panoramic view of the aesthetic reality of our country today in the field of Engraving, from the most traditional to the most contemporary visual approaches, techniques and methods of engraving and printing. Together with the founding members of the association a new and promising generation of new Cypriot Engravers are participating in this exhibition.
The exhibition is dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the establishment of the Standard Engraving Workshop EKATE which has evolved into the Association of Cypriot Engravers and continues its activity as a non-profit organization.
