150th anniversary of the birth of William B. Yeats
A tribute to the Nobel Prize-winning Irish poet and playwright, who was one of the greatest literary figures of the 20th century.
Yeats’s life and oeuvre will be presented by the renowned poet, translator and director of the Cultural Foundation of the National Bank of Greece, Dionysis Kapsalis, and the Ambassador of Ireland in Cyprus, Mr. Nicholas Twist, while members of the Theatre Workshop of the University of
Cyprus will read selected poems by W. B. Yeats in Greek and in English.
In collaboration with the Embassy of Ireland to Cyprus.
