3 000 seconds
Alexandra Waierstall's pieces are characterized by a fine and multi-layered visual language, an invitation to somnambulistic worlds existing between poetry and melancholy.
'3 000 seconds' is a performance charged with a drive into how we imagine the future, with underlying notions on love and nature. Throughout the performance the view is changing. The emerging choreography is performed by two bodies and an object. A series of images, one retrieved by another altering our perception of a luminous landscape, progressively bringing us back to the very beginning.
This performance is the first part of a research cycle titled 'Future Diaries' The performance is supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture Cyprus within the program Terpsichore.
