30x30x30 small scale sculptures
Chiaki Kamikawa Contemporary Art Gallery presents an international group exhibition of small scale sculptures, entitled “30 x 30 x 30”.
This exhibition is a contradiction towards grand scale fine art sculptures found around the world. These sculptures can be created only by a handful of artists and certainly realised upon corporate funding and sponsoring.
For this open-call exhibition, artists were asked to submit their three dimensional works to fit within the size limitations of 30x30x30 cm. The choice of the material was up to the artists. This resulted in a collection of notable and inventive art works incorporating both traditional and conceptual techniques.

Christa Donner, Eiko Ishizawa, Lilia Hadjigeorgiou, Chiaki Kamikawa, Aldo Kroese, Mia Lerssi, Arsenty Lysenkov, Efi Savvides and Maria Tsagari.
