40+ Live

The 1970’s were the rock era that changed the musical scene around the world! The youth in Cyprus at the time expressed their love for rock music by creating a musical society which quickly spread island-wide. Bands were created, band competitions were organised and high calibre concerts were the highlight in the lives of the students.

Today, some 30 years later, some of those students re-unite in a musical get-together. At 40+ those rusty fingers and hoarse voices are put back in action and the results are truly amazing! The repertoire is catchy and popular, songs that one very rarely has the opportunity to hear “live” anymore. Widely-known hits of famous Rock Bands like Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Dire Straits, Doors, Santana, Guns n’ Roses, Supertramp, Eagles, Joan Jett and other classic favourites of newer artists like 4 Non-Blondes, Duffy, No Doubt, etc.

These last 6 years 40+ have appeared in various venues and concert halls. Amongst others they have performed in Nicosia (Avlea, Diahroniki, Maple Leaf, Enallax, Retro Club, Stoa Music Hall), in Larnaka (Skylight Pub, Blue Pine Pub), in Limassol (TeePee Rock Pub) and in Pomos (Paradise Place) where they organise the annual Rock Festival.

40+ will awaken memories to the older audience and thrill the younger crowd with known favourites!
