48 Hours
The band 48 Hours, which became known to the general public in 2009 with their participation at the Greek talent show X-Factor, is coming to Nicosia for a unique charity performance organized by the Rotaract Club.
48 Hours performed alongside top selling Greek artists such as Notis Sfakianakis and Despoina Vandi. In 2011 their debut CD named "48:00:00" was released. Songs like "Ignorant With Guns", the cover of Tanita Tikaram's "Twist In My Sobriety", Jethro Tull's "Locomotive Breath" and the Greek spoken "Gine" depicted the band's versatility and musical prowess.
In 2011 The 48 Hours were chosen to be the resident band playing in the Greek equivalent of America's "The Late Show" featuring Petros Kostopoulos as the host. The show continued for a second season in 2011 with the 48 Hours covering so far more than 500 songs and counting...
All net proceeds from the event will go to the Cyprus Association of Cancer Patients and Friends.
