4th Festival of New Music
The Centre of Cypriot Composers presents the 4th Festival of New Music, which will take place from Monday, 23rd November until Friday, 27th November at ARTos Foundation, under the aegis of the Cultural Services of the Ministry of Education and Culture.This year, the Festival will host the contemporary music ensemble DISSONANT, from Thessaloniki, the Cypriot music ensemble CHRONOS and the percussionist Marios Nicolaou on solo percussion works. The festival will include premieres of works by Cypriot composers and other works of contemporary repertoire; as well as short lectures by Cypriot composers, on the subject of contemporary sound creation, and music performances with a focus on improvisation.
The Board of Directors of the Centre of Cypriot Composers would like to thank all festival sponsors and invite the public to support, with their presence, the music creation of today.
