During the history of cinema, there were many films that depicted the brutal reality of war. This year, on the sixth film festival of Cyprus there were five films that depict the cruelty of war through the eyes of child heroes. That fact, coupled with the need for organizers to seize this opportunity to express their social sensitivity and the anti-war status, led to the creation of a separate category which was called "Children and War." Five disparate concepts as each other yet so intimately linked to the global history of humanity. Five different films with five different endings for the young actors, take us to truth, pain but also bring us hope for a better world.
