6th Medieval Agia Napa Festival 2011
For the sixth consecutive year the Municipality of Ayia Napa organizes the Medieval Festival.
For a whole week the visitors will have the opportunity to attend and enjoy various original and innovative performances within the idyllic site of the medieval monastery of Ayia Napa.

Saturday, 15 October, 8:00 p.m.
"Words and time"
Α concert with Charalampos Garganoyrakis, one of the most important Cretan artists, accompanied by an 8 members band.
Teatro Pavana
Amazing stilt-walking performances by the artists of the famous Teatro Pavana.
Batukinio
An impressive performance of the unique multi-member percussion ensemble.
Sunday, 16 October, 8:00 p.m.
Traditional music group "Oi Las" and Areti Ketime
The musicians of "Oi Las" play traditional instruments together with an excellent young singer from Greece Areti Ketime and her santir.
Teatro Pavana
Amazing stilt-walking performances by the artists of the famous Teatro Pavana.
Monday, 17 October, 8:00 p.m.
"Arias"
Four artists perform arias from work of composers from France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands, from the period of Renaissance and Baroque, from 15th up to the 17th century.
Tuesday, 18 October, 8:00 p.m.
Kyprokritiko Antamoma (Cyprus meets Crete)
Concert by the band "Ichochromata" of Andreas Nicholaou and Michael Hadjimichael together with the band of Cretan lyre instrumental musician Anthony Chourdaki.
Wednesday, 19 October, 8:00 p.m.
La Rosignol
Show, performed in costumes with early instruments, that recreates the cultivated and aristocratic atmosphere of a Renaissance courtly feast.
Thursday, 20 October, 8:00 p.m.
Multiverse narrative poem from the music of the Greek traditional area
Performed by the band of Chris Christoforou "4 lutes, mandolin and violin".
Friday, 21 October, 8:00 p.m.
"Digenis Akritas"
"Digenis Akritas" theatrical performance, inspired by the seminal Medieval work of Greek Literature "Vasileios Digenis Akritas", performed by TH.E.PA.K. (University of Cyprus Theatrical Workshop).
