7th City Markets
Easter bunnies, Easter candles, Easter stuff and many other handmade and unique creations along with more than twenty artists and creators will be waiting for you at Kafeneio to Koukounari which is located at Akadimias Park, in Aglantzia during the 7th City Markets festival on April 12 and 13th between the hours of 10:00- 18:00. The event is supported by the Municipality of Aglantzia.
Let’s celebrate Spring, Easter, Nature, Life…
At City Markets festival one can find handmade items and crafts as well as sweet cupcakes, fresh lemonade, jewelry, paintings, books, dream catchers, candles, pillows, clothes, shoes, bags, homemade cookies and many more.
With every purchase we make from City Markets, we support the local market and local artists and fabricators and we contribute in boosting our economy.
Raffle tickets will be sold during the weekend, and on Sunday, several lucky winners will win prizes that will be donated from all the participants, as well as other organizations and small businesses.
The proceeds from the raffle will be donated to “SKE Aglantzias” .
Our clown will also be there as well as an artist to face paint, for free, our small friends between the hours of 11:00-13:00, both days. On Sunday at 13:00 everyone can participate in a free class of Yoga, by Maria Sotos. All you have to do is bring a mat with you.
During the festival, the KAFENe (Greek acronym for Centre of Disinterested Discovery of Young Entrepreneurship) team will continue their attempt to break the Guinness World Record by creating the largest collage of photographs in the world. The collage will display citizens with the “I AM THE ECONOMY” sign, communicating the message that the economy of a country and a nation is all the people that comprise it! The festival’s visitors can have their picture taken by the KAFENe team and be part of this gigantic attempt.
