7th Euro-mediterranean Festival of Folklore Dances

The Euromediterranean Festival is held for the 7th time. During the festival, the Municipality of Limassol is proud to have established a cultural revival of the historical center of the city and with the cooperation of the local neighborhood councils will offer a touch of entertainment to the districts of Zakaki, Kapsalos, Ap. Andrea and St. John. This year’s festivities offer to the local residents the opportunity to relax in the hot days of August and enjoy the colorful performances by the folklore groups. So let us show our love for art and music and enjoy the Festival. This year the Festival is dedicated to the Greek traditional songs and dances.

Monday, July 29th
Opening Ceremony
19:30 Parade of all performing groups starting from the Limassol Municipality, to St. Andrew Street, ending at the Medieval Castle Square in the old city where the Mayor of Limassol Mr. Andreas Christou will welcome them.
20:30 Performance of all participating groups.

Tuesday, July 30th
20:30 The Limassol Municipality in association with the local councils of Ap. Andrea and St. John present a performance with all groups in the yard of the 5th Elementary School on George Averof str. (Next to the 3rd Lyceum)

Wednesday, July 31st
20:30 The Limassol Municipality in association with the local councils of Apostoles Peter and Paul and Kapsalos present a performance with all participating groups, in the parking place of E&S superstore at Ay. Phylaxeos str.

Friday, August 2nd
Closing Ceremony
20:30 The Limassol Municipality in association with the local council of Zakaki present a performance with all participating groups, in the church yard of Ayia Varvara at Zakaki.
