7th Lavender Festival

The 7th Annual Lavender Festival will again be held at Cyherbia Botanical Park in Avgorou, from the 9th until the 24th of June. The only place in Cyprus with specially landscaped lavender gardens, a lavender labyrinth for meditation walks, a distillation room where extraction of lavender essential oil will take place, and many other unique features for all the family, such as the maze, the woodland walk around Cyprus, and the fairy village.

During the lavender festival you can:

Schedule of workshops and demonstrations:
*Essential oil extraction with presentation on the benefits of lavender, Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00 and 15:00.
*Creative workshops: make a lavender wand, lavender window hanger, candle holder, mini tree, or dreamcatcher Saturdays and Sundays at 11:00 and 16:00. No booking required.
* Cooking with lavender demonstration Saturdays and Sundays at 15:00 No booking required.
* Lavender meditation workshop Saturday June 16th, 10 am in Russian and 3 pm in English. Workshop is led by Yulia Sakharnova of www.heartbrook.com. Combining essential oil of Lavender and the magic properties of the crystal named "Aventurine", we will restore our connection with our Inner Child, will fill him with the motherly love, will awake our wisdom and inner strength, balance male and female energy, we will fill ourselves with peace and joy and balance our heart chakra so we will radiate the energy of unconditional love, formulating our goals and dreams, moving along your life path. cost of workshop 20 euros p.p., including entrance to Cyherbia, lavender ice tea and snacks.
