8th Annual Exhibition of Young Cypriot Artists
The cultural institution AKAMANTIS announces the organization of its Eighth Annual Exhibition of young Cypriot artists. This year, all net proceeds from sales of the art works and sponsorships that may be received will be donated to the charity Foundation ELPIDA, for kids with cancer and leukaemia.
The exhibition will be inaugurated by the Minister of Education and Culture Mr. Costas Kadis, in a special ceremony to be held on 20 November 2015, Friday, at 7:30 in the evening at Akamantis, Egypt 10, Nicosia
The 56 artists chosen to participate were requested to respond to the following two topics "A colourful thought with black and white colour" and "A dialogue today with yesterday’s art» which were written by the artist Ms. Eleni Nicodemou who also donated her time as the general curator of the exhibition.
