9th Fête de la Musique Limassol - International Music Day
For the 9th year in a row, the Alliance Francaise de Limassol is organising the “Fête de la Musique” of Limassol, held in collaboration with the Limassol Municipality.
The “Fête de la Musique” [“International Music Day”] is an annual music festival taking place on June 21 around the world. It was created by ex-French Min. of Culture, Jack Lang and first took place in 1982 in Paris.
Ever since, the Festival has been celebrated in more than 460 cities in 110 countries, incl. Germany, Italy, Egypt, Morocco, South Africa, Australia, Vietnam, Congo, Cameroon, Fiji, Colombia, Chile, Nepal and Japan.
The Festival is free and completely accessible to the public.
