Achilleas Persidis
Achilleas Persidis will appear solo in Cyprus this July at various venues.
He will play classic guitar, acoustic guitar and the lute.
Achilleas Persidis formed the band “Notios Ihos” in 1987 and they have released two instrumental cds with mostly his compositions.
Over the years he has travelled all over the world and mostly to Spain specializing at flamenco guitar.
The lute playing is a result of living in Crete and working with Ross Daly and Psarantonis for several years. He has played on over 100 albums and has composed music for plays and documentaries and he has also participated in different bands in Athens.
Achilleas’ playing and compositions are characterized by a very personal and unique style.
