Adi Atassi - Moments, Expressions
Prozak is proud to host Adi Atassi with some of his latest works, part of a wider ongoing project.
Adi Atassi was born in the city of Homs, in Syria, in 1962.
His love for art was primarily influenced by his early experiences in life, At the age of 18, he entered the University of Damascus, where he studied Fine Arts. In 1987, he moved to Cyprus. He held 12 individual shows; he took part in many groups’ shows such as in Hungary, Greece, Syria, Turkey, and Part Of the group (the space studios).
In 2006 won the first prize in the tender for the design and creation work of art of the new Supreme Court building in Nicosia.
His early works concentrated primarily on realistic representations of the world, while his new creations reflect a completely new approach, which aims at the understanding of the “divinity” within us.
The strong, intense lines that determine the artist’s work bring to life his inner conception of the world.
