AEI - CineFest 2018
The First International Festival of Archaeological, Ethnographic and Historical Documentary and Culture (AEI - CineFest 2018) in Cyprus, through a documentary of archaeological, ethnographic and historical content, lectures, cultural and artistic events, a channel for the promotion and dissemination of the cultural heritage of a country.
The AEI - CineFest 2018 that will be held in the cultural site Skali in Aglanzia, from 19 to 23 September, is a cultural action of Tetraktys Films Ltd in collaboration with the Municipality of Aglantzia, the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation and the Archeology Research Unit of the University of Cyprus and aspires to enrich the dialogue on issues of historical, archaeological and anthropological interest.
The AEI - CineFest 2018 program will presents Cypriot and foreign documentaries, whose creators will try to convey different cultural experiences through an intercultural view. The aim of CineFest 2018 is creative expression, sensitization and interaction, through an interdisciplinary lens where the educational dimension of the documentary can be exploited to the full. The audience will also be able to talk with directors whose documentaries will be screened at the Festival.
All the films come with English subtitles.
Special Discount entrance ticket valid for all the screenings during the five days of the festival: €15. Daily ticket price for the entrance in both screening zones: €5 / day. Tickets will be available at the entrance of the screening venues: For the afternoon screening zone, at the Caves, Skali For the evening screening zone, at the Amphitheater, Skali.
