Aftochires Pliades
Sotiris Giannakou presents “Aftochires Pliades” (Suiciding Daughters of Atlas), seven of his own poems illustrated by seven different artists.
Each artist chose the poem with which they felt they could freely express themselves. Each one approached the poem from their own point of view and transformed the words into visual art.
The artists who gave life to the dream of “Aftochires Pliades” without whom this poetic collection could not have come into being are:
Nicoletta Alexandraki, Lia Boyiatzi, Renos Efesopoulos, Elina Ioannou, Poppy Michaelidou, Polys Peslikas, Alexis Vayianos
The opening of the exhibition will be held on Wednesday, 24 of April 2013 at 7:30p.m.
