Agia Napa - Cultural Winter 2012-2013

The Agia Napa Municipality continues to present for another year the Winter Cultural Events entitled "Cultural Winter 2012-2013", an established institution that attains international acknowledgment, starting in November and ending in March, including the Christmas Events and the Tourist Excursions.

Festive lighting of the Christmas decoration with the participation of the Philarmonic Band of the Police Force of Cyprus and other music Bands playing Christmas music and songs.
There will be plenty of presents, a lot of wine and fireworks.

Celebrations for the New Year's Eve
Festive night for the New Year's Eve of the year 2013 in the central square of Agia Napa with music and songs from various musical groups and dancing groups as well as fireworks. There will be traditional foot to taste and wine free of charge for the visitors in the farmhouse. After midnight there will be served the tradiotional soup and the traditional cake called "Vasilopitta".

Celebrations for the Epiphany
There will be celebrations for the Epiphany or "Phota" at the Holly church of Saint Mary in Agia Napa, followed by the blessing of Waters and the casting of the Holy Cross at Agia Napa's harbor with the participation of the Philarmonic band of the Paralimni Municipality and the army forces. The first swimmer of the ceremony will receive a prize.
At the harbor area there will be Cypriot traditional dances and songs.
