An essential watch for any fan of Wim Wenders, Alice In The Cities was the first in a loose trilogy of road movies by the German director that established his reputation on the international film circuit. Followed by Wrong Move (1975) and Kings Of The Road (1976), Alice In The Cities lays down the blueprint for these later works - and arguably feeds into Wenders' 1984 Palme d'Or-winning masterpiece Paris, Texas.
