Art exhibition by Alkis and Loukia Christoforou
Alkis and Loukia Christoforou, second year Fine Art students at the University for the Creative Arts (UCA), Canterbury UK, have their first exhibition called "Parallels".
The idea each time is to explore a single subject across different perspectives, contexts and understandings.
The concept can be described as a cinematic, or a narrative experience: producing a similar feeling as the one when watching different scenes from a movie, or even a comic book.
For the creation of the art works, a wide variety of materials were used such as acrylics, water colours, pencils, coloured pencils, pieces of newspapers and magazines etc.
Private view, Monday 27th of April 2015, 8.00 p.m.
Opening hours 11.00 a.m - 1.00 p.m. and 5.00 p.m - 8.00 p.m, Tuesday 28th of April until Saturday 2nd of May.
The exhibition will be opened by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Education and Culture Mrs Egly Pantelakis.
