The First Mayor of Saint-Petersburg Photo Exhibition
Statesman, Ph.D. Law, Professor, Anatoly Sobchak is the first Mayor of Saint-Petersburg who made an outstanding contribution in the development of democracy in contemporary Russia and reinstated the historic name of the city. Anatoly Sobchak formed a strong professional team of young educated and talented managers, including Russian President Dmitry Medvedev, Prime Minister Vladimir Putin and others. Anatoly Sobchak was the President of International Petersburg-Leningrad Redemption Charity Foundation, President of Saint-Petersburg UNESCO Cooperation Centre, Memory Prize winner. Anatoly Sobchak was one of the contemporary authors of the Russian Constitution which, for the first time in the history of the country, had human rights as the basic values. A. Sobchak made a huge contribution to the development of science and culture in Russia. He also made a notable contribution to the development of international relations. The photography exhibition is organised in cooperation with Lyudmila Narusova, President of the Anatoly Sobchak Foundation.
