Angel. Dance, Theater, Multi-Media Performance
With their recent interdisciplinary work Angel, choreographer/director Machi Dimitriadou Lindahl and multi-media artist and director Achim Wieland create an atmospherically-dense poetic journey that combines dance, music, video and spoken text.
The six performers in a series of confessions – sometimes with irony, sometimes with awe, sometimes with cruelty, sometimes with tenderness – investigate the moment of consciousness in which man experiences himself as a spiritual being. Emotionally-powerful images that question the human preconceptions and prejudices as well as the relationship between the individual and the Society as a whole.
