Anna Z. Andreou - The Colour
Anna Z. Andreou presents her first solo exhibition with the title "The Colour" from 15 - 29 January 2011. Opening on Saturday 15 January at 7.30 pm
Anna Z Andreou was born in England, the place she grew up. Working in various mediums, she has produced a series of work focused on the notion of movement in objects and colour. Her work has a sense of instant recognition of places, icons, objects that unites us in our shared experiences.
Working in mediums of oil's and soft pastels she outlined the attack of colour in vibrancy and expressive brush marks. Alongside Latex and ink, Anna has brought about a series of work that differs from most typical art, to bring authenticity and originality.
Artist statement: " I am forever expanding my techniques and methods, bringing about new forms of art , that is classic with a modern touch."
