Anniversary of the fall of Constantinople
The School of Traditional Music "Agia Sofia" is organizing an event for the anniversary of the fall of Constantinople, Friday, May 25, 2012.
7.00 pm Vespers of martyrs and memorial of Constantine Palaiologos
8.00 pm Speech by Mr. Evangelos Chrysos, Professor of Byzantine History, University of Athens, Corresponding Member of the Austrian Academy of Sciences and former Secretary General of the Foundation of the Hellenic Parliament on "The Fall of the City: An" internally "Fall?"
8.30 pm CONCERT
Musical program with traditional instruments. Includes works by Greek composers of Constantinople, as well as songs and laments the fall.

Giannis Lempos (percussion)
Nektarios Ioannou (singing, hymns)
and the choir of the School of Traditional Music "Agia Sofia" in the diefthynsin Nektarios Ioannou.
