Art abreast of Fashion
Taking its cue from the story of the décolleté -and its (literal) ups and downs through history which echoed something of contemporary mores- this lecture at the A. G. Leventis Gallery is intended as a tailor-made collaboration with Europa Donna Cyprus and offers the opportunity for a daring glimpse into the history of both art and fashion. Paying our own, unique homage to International Women’s day, we will think, through painting and photography, about provocative necklines, but also breasts, prevention and fashion, in a talk dedicated to coquettishness and style – whether sedate or provocative.
