The Art of Pottery in Kaminaria

In a lush green landscape between the mountains of Paphos and Limassol emerges the beautiful and peaceful village Kaminaria. With ancient background in pottery, many old pottery kilns and the Ieronymeios School-hostel in Kaminaria…!, you have the opportunity and the appropriate environment to meet and live one of the oldest arts in Cyprus.

Come…!,and join us to make your own cup, an ancient perfume ware, your finest jewelry box, the traditional ceramic pitchers for cold water, a family tsoukka and many other creations.

Starting time: 10:00AM 25 August 2012 ending time: 6:00PM 26 August 2012

The Ieronymeios School-hostel in Kaminaria offers 4 bedrooms with 5 beds in each one with WC and showers. It is suitable for families and or open mind persons with friends.

Due to the limited number of seats (20) will be a priority.

The participation fees are: 48 € per person and 26 € per children up to 12 years old. The price include: Bed, blanket, pillow (excluded sheets), 6 kg of clay,the workshop setting up cost, the cooking and Andrea’s salary.

For breakfast, lunches and dinner: At Kaminaria restaurant (reservations to Mr. Leonidas 99945975 or 97804067) and or, self service in the kitchen of Ieronymeios School-hostel. Cooking ware, gas oven, wood oven, solar oven, refrigerator, TV and telephone are available.
