Assemblywomen by Alexandros Rigas
Assemblywomen is a comedy written by the Greek playwright Aristophanes in 391 BCE. The play invents a scenario where the women of Athens assume control of the government and instate "communist" reforms that ban private wealth and enforce sexual equality for the old and unattractive.
In this adaptation of the play by Alexandros Rigas the show includes music from all corners of Greece which are performed by well known Greek singers.
Part of the net proceeds will be earmarked for the financial support of the Bank of Cyprus Oncology Center.
