Ayia Napa Flood, Fish and Water Festivals 2017
With a rich cultural program, the Municipality of Agia Napa will celebrate the four-day events of the Flooding / Fish and Water Festival, which will take place in the city's graphic port from Friday 2 June to Monday 5 June and are expected to attract the Interest of thousands of local and foreign visitors.
The aim of the Municipality through this great Folk Festival is to promote and preserve the customs of our country.
Programme:
The artistic program includes, among others, concerts of the renowned artists Babis Stokas (Saturday 03/06 at 21:30) and Antypas (Sunday 04/06 at 21:30), and of the musical Ensemble of the "Kavo Greco" Agia Napa Cultural Club (Monday 05/06), traditional dances by the Agia Napa Dancing Club and the Association of the Pontians of the Eptamylon of Serres ("The Akritas") (Saturday 03/06) as well as songs from traditional poets (Monday 05/06).
The Fly Board Show will take place at the Port of Agia Napa with the "Exclusive Cyprus Distributor", the Pancyprian Jet Ski races and the Water Festival (Monday 05/06, at 10:00 am). In the framework of the Fish Feast, (03-05 / 06), fish meze will be prepared by the fish taverns of the surrounding area and will be offered at the location of the photography and Fishing exhibition. On Monday, June 5th, there will be a Holy Liturgy in the chapel of Agios Georgios, and after, the waters will be sanitized.
