‘Beloved India’: Photographing the past and the present of India (1966 – 2012): A lecture accompanied by analogue and digital image projection by Swiss photographer Jean-Marc Payot
6x6 Centre for Photography is hosting a presentation and lecture by Swiss photographer Jean-Marc Payot, on his work entitled ‘Beloved India’: Photographing the past and the present of India (1966 – 2012), on Tuesday, November 26th, at 7 p.m.
The first part of the lecture will be about «Hindu Devotion». Since the publication of his book «Hindu Devotion», the photographer continued to regularly visit his «Beloved India». In the second part of the lecture, Mr Payot will project fifty recent photographs which were shot in Gujarat (2011) and Tamil Nadu (2012).
