The bioclimatic factor of the traditional architecture in the Ε. Mediterranean

The Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation cordially invites you to the 5th lecture entitled «The bioclimatic factor of the traditional architecture in the Eastern Mediterranean» (The lecture will be delivered in Greek)

During the past centuries, successful and unique Local Constructional Systems were developing in the Eastern Mediterranean area. Those systems were in total harmonization to the relevant, local climatic, seismic, environmental condition and were producing excellent durable and long lasting bioclimatic constructional characteristic examples in contrary to the current constructional systems.

Some of the characteristic historical techniques of the Eastern Mediterranean area will be presented in the lecture.
