Body Telling
The latest neuroscientific research suggests that our bodies—brains included—have evolved, primarily, to relate and love. Surprisingly, too, language by itself is perhaps the least sophisticated tool for creating and sustaining the bonds that allow us to do so. In this 3-hour workshop cognitive psychologist Arieta Chouchourelou will focus on simple mindfulness practices for understanding our own “body language” that have the potential to transform and deepen our most important relationships. Breath-work, attentiveness exercises and creative expression will be our tools.
