Book reading and Creative Writing and Illustration workshop for children ages 8-12 with Dora Oronti
To celebrate International Children's Book Day the Museum is organizing a Creative Writing and Illustration Workshop for children ages 8-12 with artist and children's book writer Dora Oronti.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, 13th of April 2013, from 11am to 12:30pm. A short educational walk in the Museum will offer to the children the ideal atmosphere in which they can be inspired and familiarize themselves with the world of Art through the works of Cypriot artists. Following this, the children will discover the magic world of books with Dora Oronti who will read to the children one of her stories. Under her guidance, the children will learn to write and illustrate their own stories through a journey of inspiration and creation.
The workshop aims to familiarize children with the Museum and the Arts, to develop their critical thinking abilities and to cultivate their creative expression.
