Concert No 2: "Breath, Voice and Percussion" on Thursday, 5 December 2013 at 8:30 pm at the Pallas Theater in Nicosia

PROGRAMME
1) OF LAPITHOS – Three Songs (1965-1973)
2) ALOSIDNI – a musical sketch (2002/2013) for solo female voice, indian flute, percussion, strings, conches and cypriot idiophones
3) PAN GU KAI TIAN (1989) for Chinese percussion (5 performers)
4) ENALLAX-PARALLEL γ΄(1984-1997) for lead percussion solo, two violoncellos and multiple duet
5) APHRODITE KYPROGENIA– a musical praxis on the poetry of Sappho(2008) (excerpts)
6) KYPRA (1993/2011) for ten winds, percussion, two string quintets and accompanying groups with pithkiavlia (shepherds’ flutes) and various cypriot idiophones (20 years after its first performance, now revised and played again for the first time in Cyprus)
