The rabbit and the turtle for violin, double bass and narrator – Aesop’s myth adapted by Vicky Stylianou (on melodies from popular classical works)
A double bass, a violin and a narrator will tell you three fascinating musical stories! A little sound got lost in the wild, dark forest. The other sounds are searching for him... Will the little sound find its way back to them? While the other young bulls show off their strength and bravery, Ferdinand the bull prefers to sit quietly under the shade of a beech and smell the flowers. A rabbit and a turtle agree to race each other. The narration of Aesop’s well-known myth is accompanied by melodies from popular classical works by Rachmaninov, Paganini, Schubert, Saint-Saens, Mozart and other composers, arranged by Alkis Baltas.
