Buy a gift, save a stray!
This Christmas, the animal welfare organisation PAWS-Protecting Animals Without Shelter, joins efforts with young Cypriot artists, in order to reinforce the fight for the rights and the welfare of animals. On Monday, December 23, from 6 pm until late, at Property Café Bar in Nicosia (Aristotelous str, Onasagorou area), Cypriot artists’ creations offered especially for this cause will be put up for sale. All the proceeds from the sales will be offered to the association, which is financially supported only by contributions and incomes from various events. PAWS’s main objective is, among others, to rescue and care for stray animals, prepare them properly so they can be permanently adopted by suitable families, raise awareness of the importance of neutering and the microchip, as well as visit schools in order to educate students in regard to animal rights and welfare. Within the last year about 250 dogs and 130 cats found their forever homes in Cyprus and abroad. Today approximately 150 dogs and 130 cats are under the care of the association whose needs are constantly increasing.
Follow this path of love by making a special gift to yourself or to your loved ones and help to save a life.
