Centrifugally - Eva Bei
“Centrifugally” by Eva Bei at Art project Place
On January 25, Art Project Place will launch the exhibition “Centrifugally”, presenting for the first time in Cyprus the work of the Greek painter Eva Bei who has followed a significant path in the area of Greek art. This path is marked by a mild consistency not only as far as the production of the artwork is concerned but also with regard to the life of the artist. At the small and large dimensioned artworks presented in this exhibition, the painter seems as if she strives to illustrate the air and all actions penetrating it; signals towards all directions are looking for recipients. Magnetic and other fields ostracise the routes of the soul; the little self broadens centrifugally in a universe fitted to it.
The exhibition will be introduced by Dr Savvas Christodoulidis, visual artist and Assistant Professor at Frederick University.
Duration of the exhibition: 25 January – 18 February 2017
Opening hours: 11 am – 1 pm and 4pm – 8 pm, Saturday 12 – 4 pm
