Charalambos Christodoulou was born in Akhna, Famagusta, Cyprus. He obtained a BA in Mathematics and History at the University of London (1967).
Since 1981 he has been carving marble, limestone, sandstone, granite, jasper, wood, terracotta in his quest for new challenges. The human figure dominates his world, the female one and motherhood acquiring a leading role.
He exhibited his work in a solo exhibition in 1990 at the Melina Mercouri Municipality Hall in Nicosia and in a joint exhibition with the Romanian painter Aurelia Stoie at the inauguration of the University of Cyprus New Campus “Anastasios Leventis” Hall, in April 2007. He participated in two group exhibitions, one organized by The Cyprus Chamber of Fine Arts (EKATE) in 1992 and one at the Gloria Gallery in December 2009.
In 2011, together with Romanian tapestry artist Valentina Cican, he presented his work in a joint exhibition of sculpture and tapestry, organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture and the Romanian Embassy at the Cultural Services Hall. In 2015, he participated in the Art Fair organized by the Chelsea Old Town Hall in London.
He lives and works in Nicosia.
