Commonwealth Film Days 2019
The Royal Commonwealth Society Cyprus Branch (RCS Cyprus) and the Friends of Cinema Society are pleased to present Commonwealth Film Days 2019 for the second consecutive year.
The Film Days will take place between 7 and 21 March at Cine Studio, University of Nicosia, featuring five screenings that exemplify the diversity the Commonwealth represents.
All films will commence at 20:00. The line-up of films is as follows:
THURSDAY 7/3(20:00)
WE ARE MONSTER

On 8th February 2000 at Feltham Young Offenders Institute, Robert Stewart, a known violent racist was placed in a cell with Zahid Mubarek, eventually leading to Mubarek's murder 6 weeks later.

Troy Carrington, a former professional football player returns to his country town after an abrupt end to his sporting career and is persuaded to coach the hapless local footy team, the Roosters.
The lead actor and co-producer of “The Merger”, Mr. Damian Callinan, will be present at the screening on 21 March to discuss the film with the audience.
