Concert by the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, as part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the declaration of the Republic of Cyprus.
As part of the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the Republic of Cyprus, the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra is giving concerts in Cyprus, Thessaloniki and Veroia, involving talented young Cypriot musicians, the conductor Giorgos Kountouris and the pianist Elena Mitella.
The programme includes the works: In memoriam – for string orchestra, by Solon Mihailidis, the Piano Concerto in A minor, Opus 54, by Schumann and the Symphony no. 40, in G minor, K. 550, by Mozart.
