Concert in memory of Pefkios Georgiades

The Stings Workshop Musical Talent Development Program of the Ministry of Education and Culture is holding a concert on 12 January 2013, at the Strovolos Municipal Theatre, at 20:30, in memory of Pefkios Georgiades, ex minister of Education and Culture, who also set up the Strings Workshop. The concert is organized under the auspices of H.E. the President of the Republic Mr Demetris Christofias.

The concert will be performed by the students of the Workshop who are children from all over Cyprus, aged between 4-14 years, with a special talent in music and interest in learning an orchestral string instrument.

All proceeds will go to the Patient Welfare Committee of the Arch. Makarios III Hospital, which supports the families of the children who go abroad for treatment.
