Conversations on Creativity
The Embassy of Israel in Cyprus and the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation within the framework of their cultural cooperation, continue for the third consecutive year the organisation of lectures, aiming to build and enhance cultural dialogue, communication and exchange of views and ideas between the two peoples.
The 2015 Series of Lectures is organised under the general title ‘Conversations on Creativity”. World famous artists and animators will reveal and share their unique art methods and skills, through lectures and creative workshops.

During the workshop, claymaster Rony Oren reveals his unique yet simple method of creating in clay, making it possible for anyone to create a magical wonderland of clay characters.
The workshop is open to adults and especially art students, educators or therapists who wish to enrich their skills using this particular method. There is limited number of places. For reservations tel. 22128157
Rony Oren, a unique artist and internationally recognised animator, served as Chair of the Animation Department at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. Throughout the course of his career, Rony Oren has developed a unique method for creating clay characters that is simple and easy to follow. Rony has produced and directed over 500 short films and television series, a number of which received international awards. He has illustrated 30 books for children and young people.
The lecture and the workshop will be delivered in English.
