When you are facing a loaded gun, what's the difference?

On the 15th December at 20:00 the opening of the photography exhibition of Constantinos Taliotis will take place. Comprises of eight cinematically staged tableau vivant images that derived from a two year research on 1970s/80s B-Movie and gangster films. The photographs reconstruct situations that share characteristics particular only to the aforementioned genres such as Heist, Briefcase Swaps, Hostage Situations, Roadblocks and set ups. The stills exist on the verge of hypothetically significant narratological shifts and they allude to what might have just happened or what is succeeding them without however fully revealing it. Thus the photographs are characterised by an overall tension of anticipation alongside the feeling of the unavoidable.
