The creative use of Italian in the world of advertising
In the framework of the 16° settimana della lingua italiana nel mondo (16th Week of Italian language worldwide), the Embassy of Italy in collaboration with the Embassy of Switzerland, have the pleasure to invite you to the lecture, “The creative use of Italian in trademarks, advertising slogans and shop signs” by Professor Joseph Brincat.
With the use of multimedia, the lecture will try to show the tricks of the advertising trade and distinguish between the linguistic strategems and rhetorical devices marketing managers use. The emphasis will be placed on shop signs and slogans created in Italy.
The presentation will be in English.
