Cycling Excursion
"Podilates Lefkosias" Cycling Club organizes a pleasant and relatively easy cycling excursion on Sunday, 4th November.
The members of the Group and any other cyclists who want to participate in the event, are invited to meet up at the central square of Mari village at 8:30am where they will be offered free snacks and drinks by the sponsors of the Club, VTT Vasiliko, the company that invests 300 million euro in the construction of an oil storage terminal at Vasilikos.
The ride will begin from Mari at 9:00am and will go towards Zygi, along the seaside. The cyclists will then pass through the villages Alaminos and Kofinou to return to Mari. The distance is about 44 km and is appropriate for all bikes, since and the road is 100% asphalt with a total ascent of approximately 466 meters.
