From heaven: Cyprus and its heritage

In collaboration with the Department of Antiquities of Cyprus and the Municipality of Nicosia, Instiitut français de Chypre presents "From heaven: Cyprus and its heritage' a photography exhibition by Thomas Sagory. The exhibition offer new opportunities to discover or rediscover the rich heritage of the island of Aphrodite. It is also an invitation to travel in time.

This exhibition brings together some fifty shots, all taken from a kite, that offer unique and beautiful views.

Photographer Thomas Sagory
Archaeologist by profession, Thomas Sagory has years of experience in kite aerial photography, a passion that has been useful for his job in France and his travels around the world.

Thomas Sagory followed his original path from Egyptian archeology to the design of a multimedia project. This apparent discrepancy actually seems to be, in reality, a coherent choice that reflects a profound passion for the memory of the past and the transmission of traditions.

This path led him to travel the world in search of new discoveries and fascinating images of places in Egypt, Yemen, Uzbekistan ... and now enables him to offer a voyage over the Cypriot landscape.
